After completing high school in India, Marie worked for three years for the Maldivian Government as a marine biology trainee and later as a research assistant in the Marine Research Section before getting a scholarship for a BSc in Marine Biology. She first studied at the University of the South Pacific and then at James Cook University of North Queensland, Townsville, from where she graduated in 1999. She was later granted another scholarship to do a Masters through the AusAid Marine Protected Area project at James Cook University. She completed her Masters degree in Protected Area Management and graduated in May 2004.
Marie has been working at the Marine Research Centre, Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources of the government of the Republic of Maldives as a Senior Research Officer and is involved in various projects such as CORDIO and GCRMN, but is at present on a no-pay leave from the Government of Maldives. Founder of Seamarc Pvt. Ltd., she has taken part in virtually all the projects run by the company for the last seven years.

Thomas Le Berre 
Born 13/07/1974 in Fougeres, France
French nationality
After getting the Baccalaureate C (Math and Physics) with distinctions in Vannes (France), Thomas went to the preparatory classes for the French engineering school. He eventually was admitted at ENSTA, Paris, France, one of the French engineering "Grandes Ecoles". While studying at ENSTA, Thomas took part in several exchange programs and studied for one semester at KTH, Stockholm, Sweden, and for one year at James Cook University of North Queensland, Townsville, Australia. He graduated from ENSTA in 1998.
Active member of the Seamarc team since its conception, Thomas has taken part in most of the projects run by the company.

Cedric Guignard 
Born 03/07/1980
French Nationality
After completing his baccalaureate in 1998, Cedric joined Cergy-Pontoise University to his D.E.U.G In science, and then in 2001 joined International agro-development engineer school to complete his I.S.T.O.M. After that, he did his Masters in Aquaculture at the CREUFOP of the University of Montpellier II
He joined Seamarc at first on the 14th of august 2005 to work on a project held in Four Seasons Resort Kudahura. After finishing the project, he left and then again joined Seamarc on June 26, 2006 to work on an aquaculture project in Four Seasons Resort Landa Giraavaru. He is currently working in the Fish lab in Landa Giraavaru, as the Chief in charge of the project.

Moosa Athfal 
Born 03/01/1983 in S. Maradhoo, Penzeemaage
Maldivian nationality
After completing his A’ Levels in 2002, joined the Environment Research Centre (ERC) as a Research Assistant Trainee. His area of work included Coastal geomorphology and research, Coastal engineering and hydrographic analysis and research, integrated coastal zone management, Environmental impact assessment, Geophysical information assessment. Surveying, Beach monitoring as well as creating awareness programs are also included. During his time in ERC, he under took a training program in AutoCAD.
Worked for three years in ERC and joined Seamarc on 24 October 2006. Athfal has taken part in all the projects run by the company since he joined the company.
